Grant J. Goering serves as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of Beyond Wealth Advisors. In this role, he is responsible for the practice’s overall investment strategy, governance, and execution across all advisory platforms. Grant leads the development and stewardship of the practice’s investment philosophy, asset allocation framework, and portfolio construction methodology, ensuring disciplined implementation and alignment with clients’ long-term objectives.
As a member of the executive leadership team, Grant partners closely with the John Kliewer, CEO, BWA to support scalable growth, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen investment processes as assets under management expand. He oversees a range of investment solutions, helping uphold fiduciary principles across the practice.
Grant directs investment due diligence, manager selection, and ongoing monitoring to ensure consistency, discipline, and risk management across portfolios. He serves as the firm’s primary investment resource for advisors and leadership, clearly communicating investment strategy, market insights, and portfolio rationale.
Grant has been with the firm since 2020 and brings a wealth of industry experience, having served in a variety of key roles in financial services since 2004, working specifically within the investment management field since 2008.
Before joining Beyond Wealth Advisors, Grant was Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager with the trust and investments division of a community bank in Wichita, Kansas. Grant graduated summa cum laude from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in music business and a minor in entrepreneurship. He has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation.
Grant shares his life journey with his wife and best friend, Amber, and their two children. The artistic family enjoys creating together, antiquing, family movie nights, and spending time in nature, particularly in the autumn and winter. Grant is also a songwriter and enjoys music, reading and following his favorite hockey teams.
